| Currently the Clinton County Sheriff's Office provides
police protection for eleven of the incorporated towns within Clinton
County. The general duties of the Sheriff also include overseeing
the service of civil documents; housing, custody and transporting of
inmates for all agencies within the county; providing security in the
Clinton County Courthouse; and special investigation of any alleged
criminal activity. |
