This is a 695 acre public hunting area managed by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). Hunting is primarily for whitetails, turkeys, ducks, raccoons and coyotes in the forests lining the Wapsi River. The area also is open for hiking and has a boat ramp maintained by the Clinton County Conservation Board. Click on the maps to see a larger version of Syracuse.
