Transaction Program
Upon receipt of a completed,
prepaid application from the buyer/sellers, lending institutions, and
real estate agents, the Health Department:
-
provides written reports
regarding the condition of existing sewage systems and/or water
supplies serving properties involved in real estate transactions
-
provides inspections and
sampling of these systems
The inspection of a septic tank
requires both the inlet and outlet lids be uncovered and the tank pumped
by a licensed septic tank hauler.
